All SAFE-T Clients have access to the inventory of donated items at the SAFE-T Thrift Store upon request. Generally, clients are given a Gift Certificate based on the following guide.

$30 per person in the family for clothes.
$150 for furniture
$50 for household items
$35 for entertainment items

All of the items in the store are sorted, cleaned and checked to make sure they function. Regardless of this, they are priced at better-than-garage-sale values. Even though clients are only given a $30 gift certificate per person in the family for clothing, this is enough for several outfits based on the Thrifts Store prices.

Why does SAFE-T give clients Gift Certificates?
SAFE-T believes that victims of abuse deserve the best that we have to offer. So instead of SAFE-T Staff creating client care packages with prechosen items, clients can shop like any customer, and are able to choose the items they want. This freedom to choose is often the first time that a victim of abuse is allowed the freedom to choose for themselves what they want without the control of their abuser.

How can a client get a Gift Certificate?
All a client has to do is call (903)572-0973 and request a Gift Certificate. A Gift Certificate will be sent to the store from the office within a couple hours. The client only needs to tell the Thrift Store staff that they have a Gift Certificate under their name.
